Jeanne Panne, a historic evocation

Nieuwpoort is a city of witches. Between 1602 and 1652 no less than 17 witches, men and women alike, have been burned.

Nieuwpoort wants to remind this history with the historic evocation of the life of Jeanne Panne, the witch of Flanders, on Sunday July 11th 2010. For this occasion, the whole city will return into the 17th. Century.
